This is about the Monterey location which is adorable.

I love a good biergarten. This is a great biergarten. Monterey is beautiful. Look at me on the left! I went native! Picnic tables, Adirondack chairs with foot rests, fire pits and just a very relaxed vibe make the Fieldwork Brewing Company a must visit in a city that is a must visit.

I had a very big IPA as well as a flight of tasty beverages including a stout with a ton of coffee and chocolate in it. They do have a selection of Boylan sodas as an alternative to beer. There was no food when we visited but I was told that you can bring in food and there are options in the neighborhood including a Trader Joe's. If your experience at Trader Joe's is ever like mine, I appreciate a biergarten being right there.

Parking in the shared lot was an experience as a fair warning. There were some very good dogs enjoying the space when we were there.

And does it cater to a running crowd? YUP. As doing some research for this, I found that in April of '22, Fleet Feet Monterey scheduled a pub run starting and ending at Fieldwork! My people!

Great beer, great location, and a good time with friends. Thanks to JT for suggesting this place.
