I have been here after at least three races. It may be more. I know that after one of the Helderberg 2 Hudson Half Marathons and after the first Upstate Classic Half we came here. Why? Because it is one of the places that I thought of when considering starting this website. It has pizza and other food that is especially delicious when you need to eat right now. There is great outdoor seating. There is a large selection of beer and non-alcoholic choices.

Most importantly, I was comfortable limping in, legs covered in mud, wearing my medal and my finisher's sweatshirt, and asking for four different beverages as soon as our server came over (Coke, water, an IPA, and a cup of coffee).

It is relaxed here. Some days it is filled with people watching sports while other days, the patio is chock full of undergrads from the nearby Union College. It is nice. It is also close to the finish line for the Stockade-a-thon and not far off the path of the Erie Canal Trail.

Parking can be an issue and I do not believe it to be dog friendly.
