Druthers Brewing has three taprooms and restaurants and this review is for the Saratoga and Schenectady locations. This is not to say that the Albany location is not great, it is, but it doesn't have outdoor seating, and that is one of the important raison d'etre for this website.

First of all, get the beer cheese and pretzels. If beer is your thing, there is an ever changing selection of Druthers' beers and they all pair really well with the beer cheese and pretzels.

The Schenectady location is not far from downtown in the Mohawk Harbor area. It is not far from the Erie Canal trail so if you are walking from Albany to Buffalo, this would be a nice stop for your first lunch. The patio area is beautiful. Parking, if cars are your thing, is ample.

The Saratoga Springs location is on the main drag and the outdoor area, with the old brick and historic buildings is delightful. It is also right on the course for the ADK Ragnar, if it ever returns, making it a great place to sit and people watch as they run by. Parking is what it is in a small town with lots of seasonal visitors. Some days it is really easy and other days it is...less easy.
